The province of Afyon — particularly the districts of İscehisar, Kaymaz and Bolvadin — hosts Turkey's largest white marble reserves. 'Afyon White' and 'Afyon Sugar' are prized for their pure white colour, low porosity (water absorption < 0.15%), high flexural strength (15–22 MPa) and clean crystalline structure. They are widely used for both interior applications and mechanically anchored façades.

Muğla province (Milas, Yatağan and Ula districts) contains one of Turkey's most varied natural stone landscapes.
