Marble Cut-to-Size Supply — Project-Dimension Cutting and Finishing | Sipahi Wholesale Export
Sipahi Mermer supplies marble, granite, travertine and onyx cut to project dimensions with CNC waterjet and bridge-saw processing, edge profiling and finish completed, for defined-dimension projects such as kitchen countertops, wall panels, stair treads, skirting, bathroom vanities, bank countertops, shopfront cladding, marble podiums and headstones. With ±1mm dimensional tolerance, 90° corner precision and installation-ready delivery, we bring 45 years of producer experience to project-based export.
What Is Cut-to-Size — Use Cases
Cut-to-Size is a supply model in which marble, granite or travertine slab is CNC-cut to project dimensions, with edge profiling, holes and grooves completed, and delivered ready for installation. The buyer installs the material directly on site or for the end user without further processing at their own facility — making this the most suitable supply model for project-based work with clearly defined dimensions.
Kitchen and Bathroom Countertops
Installation-ready countertop production with waterjet-cut sink/hob cutouts, drip grooves and bullnose/ogee edge profiles.
Bank and Office Countertops
Countertops and reception desk cladding cut to standard corporate-project dimensions, with straight or mitred edges.
Wall Panels and Shopfront Cladding
Panel installation cut to project dimensions for interior/exterior facades of hotels, shops and offices.
Stair Treads and Skirting
Stair tread and skirting pieces cut to project dimensions with edge profiling completed — ready for direct installation.
Marble Podiums and Headstones
Custom-design podiums, monuments and headstones delivered with precise dimensions and surface finish.
Turkish Marble Families Common in Cut-to-Size
Buyer demand for project-dimension cutting is generally concentrated in these 5 stone types:
Marmara White
A classic white marble preferred for bank and corporate office countertop projects for its prestigious appearance and homogeneous texture.
Muğla White
A sapphire-grade white marble in high demand for residential kitchen countertop projects, thanks to its fine grey veining.
Denizli Travertine
A travertine preferred for hotel lobby column cladding and wall panel projects for its warm beige-cream tone.
Bergama Granite
A granite preferred for flooring and stair tread projects thanks to its high durability and abrasion resistance.
Afyon Sugar
A premium marble preferred for interior panel projects thanks to its high whiteness.
Technical Specifications — Tolerance, Cutting, Edge Profile
Project-dimension cutting precision and processing standards form the basis of installation safety.
Dimensional Tolerance
A standard ±1mm dimensional tolerance and 90° corner precision are applied in production; this minimises the need for additional adjustment during on-site installation.
Cutting Technology
CNC waterjet is used for complex shapes and hole cutting, while bridge-saw cutting is used for straight edges and serial cuts; the method is determined by the project's geometry.
Edge Profile Options
Bullnose (rounded), ogee (decorative S-profile), straight cut and mitre (45°) edge profile options are offered.
Hole and Groove Machining
Project-specific machining such as sink/hob cutouts, drip grooves, and outlet/switch cutouts is completed via waterjet.
B2B Export Process
Shop drawing approval is the first step toward process clarity for Cut-to-Size orders.
Shop Drawing Approval
Dimensions and technical drawings (shop drawings) shared by the buyer are reviewed and submitted for written approval before production.
Incoterm Options
FCA (delivered at the Sakarya workshop), CIF (delivered to the destination port, insured and freight paid) or DAP (delivered to a specified point) options are offered depending on buyer requirements.
Payment Terms
For project-based work, a 30-50% advance (at production start) plus a balance via TT or L/C before shipment is generally applied.
Export Insurance
For high-volume project orders, export credit insurance options under Türk Eximbank are considered at the buyer's request.
Production Time
Production time ranges from 4-6 weeks depending on project complexity; projects with a large number of pieces or special edge profiles can take longer.
Packaging and Logistics
Project-dimension pieces are labelled according to installation sequence and shipped with specialised packaging.
Project-Specific Custom Crating
Each piece is placed in a wooden crate built to dimensions matching its size and fragility; on multi-piece projects, crates are numbered according to installation sequence.
Corner Protection + Foam Padding
Piece corners are protected with dedicated corner guards, and surfaces are cushioned with impact-absorbing foam padding.
Labelling and Installation Plan
Each piece is labelled according to its installation location on site; on large projects, an installation sequence plan is shared along with shipping documents.
Ports and Shipment
Container shipments are organised from the ports of İzmit and Gemlik; LCL (less-than-container load) shipment is also considered for fragile pieces.
